Plant a tree today

There’s an old Chinese Proverb that goes like this: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”

When I came to the actualization that I wasn’t saving enough for retirement I had a sinking feeling in my stomach. I thought to myself, it’s too late, I’m so dumb for not figuring this out five years ago.

Many clients have this same though process when they complete their first financial planning meeting. Instead of wallowing in self-loathing, snap out of it! Move on! And remember…
